Boyd v. State of Delaware
The Freibott Law Firm recently settled a case against State Farm Fire and Casualty Company regarding our allegation that State Farm acted improperly, willfully and wantonly and in bad faith in its failure to pay Personal Injury Protection benefits to our client. We alleged that State Farm’s conduct regarding our client’s medical bills claim was without any reasonable justification and constituted a breach of contract causing our client to suffer harm in the form or unpaid medical expenses. We alleged that because of State Farm’s improper conduct, State Farm owed, amongst other damages, statutory damages. State Farm resolved this case at mediation. (Russo v. State Farm Fire and Casualty Company, C.A. No.: N16C-08-009 MMJ)
